One might ask, “what is transformation according to the Bible?” According to the Bible, transformation is a “change or renewal from a life that no longer conforms to the ways of the world to one that pleases God” (Romans 12:2). Here, we are talking about the inward spiritual transformation that is physically manifested thanks to a renewal of mind. Colossians 1:10 tells us that a transformed life in Christ is manifested through our “bearing fruit in every good work [and] growing in the knowledge of God.” We can as well say that transformation involves those who were once far from God being “drawn near” to Him through the Sacrificial Blood of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:13).
