What Does The Bible Say About Reliability?

What Does The Bible Say About Reliability? As followers of Christ, we must cultivate a reliable habit in doing what God commands. In fact, everything about us staring from our thoughts, words, and actions should be reliable before God and humanity. Reliability is a godly quality worth cultivating as it comes with several blessings. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was reliable all through His Earthly ministry. And up-to-date, He is still reliable for the Scripture says that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). In addition, God the Father Himself has always been reliable for His word says that He will never leave nor forsake His children. And as His children with Christ as the First Born, we ought to reflect His quality of reliability.

Being reliable is being faithful, trustworthy, or dependable. It is rather unfortunate that this godly character is rare these days even among those who claim to be followers of Christ. However, it is our duty to strive hard on a daily basis to be reliable or faithful just as Christ was to His Heavenly Father and Earthly companions. It was the faithfulness of Christ to His Father that empowered Him to accomplish the Perfect Sacrifice of Purification on the Cross at Calvary with His own Life. Today, anyone who Believes in Him, Sincerely Repents, and obeys His Teachings is given Eternal Life and freed from Eternal Condemnation in the Fire of Hell. In addition, Christ was so faithful to His earthly companions that he promised to be with them in spirit for all times (Matthew 28:20).
