In thinking of the concept of strength, many people commonly associate it with physical power. It is important to note that both are overlapping synonyms that carry the capacity to act effectively, whether physically, morally, or intellectually. That is why it is said that the strongest is not always the ultimate master unless he/she converts his/her strength into doing what is right out of love and obedience. The Christian journey is full of challenges. Without strength, these challenges will lead you into wandering far away from the faith. At some points in life, we have the impression of not liking ourselves that much. A poor esteem of one’s self also leads to the problem of not being able to like and appreciate the values in others. Low self-esteem usually begins at youthful ages as a result of the messages we get from others telling us that we are not OK. It can a well result from failure in School, names other kids call us, and trouble with parents. Upon hearing these messages, we careless of whether they are true or not. We are more into storing them in our subconscious minds and looking down at ourselves. Many people just believe what is said about them without checking its veracity.

Growing up with negative thoughts about yourself leads anger, bitterness, sadness, fear and the feeling of being unable to succeed. Such people end up raising kids with the same kind of feeling. Luckily enough, the Cross of Jesus Christ has the power to fully break this cycle and give you are new beginning. Keep in mind that the Cross of Jesus Christ is a saying of Love. Whether we admit it or not, we all carry in our hearts a heavy load of anxiety and fear as a result of guilt. This is just normal because we are told in the scriptures that all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). We all rely on God’s saving grace to obtain everlasting life. Lets read from Romans 3:9-12, 23 – “What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; as it is written, “THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE.“

The problem of guilt has moved some people to seeking relief from the emotional, mental, and physical ravages which are all caused by the effects of sin. The adoption of new philosophies, magic, drugs, social reform and even denial have been used with aims to wipe out the guilt without success. The truth is that non of these so-called solutions can do the work of the cross: that is to remove the cause of guilt which is sin. The other things can only deal with symptoms while the cross remains the only true way of removing sin and guilt from its roots. The Scriptures reveal that Jesus Christ heals us from the effects of sin by removing and taking unto himself on the cross all our sins. Jesus Christ removes, wipes off, or eliminates our sins. It is not like he simply justifies or hides them. He removes them completely through a process of transference. The transference process of removing sins was previewed for centuries by the Jewish sacrificial system. We can best read about it in the Old Testament. It had to do with offering an animal sacrifice for someone’s sins. In this process, the priest will first lay hands on the animal as a symbol that a transfer was taking place (Leviticus 4:13-21). After doing this, the sins of the individual are transferred to the animal which was being slain to symbolize the payment for the moral price of sin which was death (Genesis 2:15-17).

Today, the sins of the world are removed by the Son of God who took the place of a sacrificial lamb. Thus, no more need for animal sacrifices. Also remember about the children of Israel who were held hostage in Egypt where they were required to work as slaves. Although they were treated as such for many years, God did not forget them. This is to tell you that no condition is permanent. In as much as God remembered the Israelites when they called to him, He will also remember you. And when he remembers you, your situation will change for the best. When the Israelites were faced with the impossibility of crossing the red sea so as to escape pharaoh’s soldiers who were pursuing them, God demonstrated his power. He divided the Red Sea and created a traveling path way for his children to safely cross. God himself was the light on their path to the promised land.

Jesus Christ commanded Peter to walk with him on water, Peter stepped out with faith and was walking until the moment doubt entered his heart an he began drowning. This is a strong call to take God for his words without trying to help or assist him in his promises.

Always remember that we have been given the strength through Christ to stand every situation and end up victorious. We should refuse to let our minds worried because that’s not what our heavenly father wishes for us.

He has given us peace of mind and the power to speak forth things into existence through Christ. Let’s confirm this saying by reading from the Holy Scriptures in John 14:13-14 – “And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it“.

Boost your faith through the Holy Scriptures by further reading from Mark 11:24 “For this reason, I tell you: when you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.” The scriptures point to God’s willingness to provide whatever we ask from Him. God is who He says He is and you can be certain that He will keep to all His promises. 40 Prayer Points to Attract Anything

Note that what governs the success of our 40 prayer points to attract anything is a mature faith. The scriptures say that nobody can please God without faith. And if you are without favor before God, you’ll find it difficult benefiting from the promises that he holds for his children. By faith, we mean the certainty that God is who He says he is and that He will certainly accomplish all that the Holy Scriptures promise for his children.

In other words, we can perceive faith as the certainty in God’s unfulfilled promises. Ask yourself what God says about you and the situation that you are facing. Once you have the answer, hold firm to what God says and look not on the physical situation. For we walk by faith and not by sight in Christ.

Remember that Jesus Christ says in Mark 11:24 that whatever we ask, we must believe that we have received it and it will be granted to us. This is a greater demonstration of a mature faith. Here, you talk to your heavenly father and believe that he has heard and answered your prayers. This is how you should meditate and speak out words of faith as guided by our 40 prayer points to attract anything.

The mission God gave to Paul and Silas

Paul and Silas were servants of the Most High. They had consecrated their lives to God’s service. Upon proving their faithfulness, Jesus Christ gave them the mandate of preaching the Holy Gospel and winning more souls. They happily received this mandate and took it seriously as they went around preaching, healing the sick, and freeing those in captivity. It so happened that they drove an evil spirit which was giving supernatural abilities to a lady to see the future. After driving this spirit, the lady could no longer work as a fortune teller for her owners.

They got mad at Paul and Silas to the extent that they wanted to kill them. Out of anger, they dragged them to the Roman Officials for trial and punishment. Before the officials, they accused Paul and Silas of misleading people with forbidden doctrines by their laws. They added that Paul and his companion were caught in the very act of causing trouble in the city.

Upon hearing these accusations, the Roman Officials were angry and had Paul and Silas severely whipped. As if this was not sufficient, they had them bind with heavy chains and thrown into prison. Instead of complaining and lamenting, Paul and Silas thanked God for having accomplished his will. At midnight, they were singing and praising God when Freedom came from heaven. There was a violent Earthquake which was so intense that all the prison doors were scattered. The chains binding the prisoners also fell off for the glory of God.

You might be wondering why they prayed exactly at midnight and were liberated. Midnight is the hour of the third clock in the heavenly places. In other words, it is the hour of Battle in heavenly places. Also read why Paul and Silas prayed at midnight.

Faith

Discouragement

Although everything around Paul and Silas was giving them reasons to be discouraged, they were not. They were innocently whipped to the extent of leaving wounds on their bodies yet they remained standing on the rock of ages. Satan gave them sufficient physical reasons to be discouraged by they did not. They refused to be led by their physical eyes in accordance with the scripture that says children of God live by faith and not by sight.

Although they had severe wounds and pains on their bodies, they did not stop praising God. Their pains and persecutions gave them a bigger reason to pray and sing the more. Their voices reached heaven and brought back divine intervention. It’s time for you to stop complaining and start praising God. For he is aware of your suffering and hardship. There is power in praise. Have faith that he will not live you without a blessing just as he did with Paul and Silas.

The Power of midnight prayer

Apart from faith, midnight prayer is another vital lesson to learn from the sermon on Paul and Silas in Prison. There is power in midnight prayer to set free and destroy all satanic plans. Satan and his agents generally step out at midnight to execute their main plans. This is the hour in which many destinies are buried and stars covered.
