The Deep Christian Life Ministry was founded back in the year 1983 by a former university mathematician lecturer. It all began when his students requested that he teach them the gospel. 2. Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel): Weekly attendance – 50,000 people
Having its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria, the Living Faith Church also popularly known as Winners Chapel has an estimated weekly attendance of 50,000 people. With over 15,000,000 members around the World, the Apostolic Church is one of the largest Churches in Africa. It is located in Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded back in the year 1906 by the famous Apostle Ayo Joseph Babalola. Apostle Babalola happens to be the man who initiated the largest Christian revival that Nigeria has ever know. With headquarters in Harare, Zimbabwe, the United Family International Church was founded in 2006 by Emmanuel Makandiwa. The International Gospel Center was founded back in 1987 by Ayo Oritsejafor. The Church has several branches across Nigeria, Africa, and the World at large. Since its creation, it has been experiencing what we can refer to as an exponential growth. Although it started with a few members, we can currently talk of a weekly attendance of 35,000 people. Its General Overseer, Ayo Oritsejafor is a charismatic gospel preacher who is highly loved by his congregants.
9. Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church: Weekly Attendance – 30,000 people
With an estimated weekly attendance of 30,000 people, the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church is located in Lagos, Nigeria. The Church was founded back in 1994 by Lazarus Muoka who claims to have had a vision from God which was instructing him to start the church. However, it was not until 2002 that Lazarus Muoka founded the church together with a few voluntary members. From then, the church has been experiencing an exponential growth.
8. Christ Embassy (Believer’s Love World Fellowship): Weekly Attendance – 30,000 people
Christ Embassy was founded back in the year 1990 by pastor Chris Oyakhilome who originates from Nigeria. Currently having its headquarters in South Africa, it was initially founded in Nigeria. Today, the church has gained a world wide attraction. It has branches in several parts of the world. The church also runs a publication house known as Loveworld Publications. Doxa Deo has its headquarters in Pretoria, South Africa. This multi-sight church was founded in 1996. It has branches in different countries on almost all the continents in the World. Its name comes from two different languages. Doxa coming from Greek means glory while Deo coming from Latin means God.
