Billy Graham was born on the 7th of November, 1918 on a dairy farm near Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born to William Franklin Billy Graham Senior and Morrow Coffee Graham. William Franklin was a well established businessman and farmer. Billy Graham was the eldest son of the family with two younger sisters and a brother. In 1934 when Billy Graham was 16 years, he attended a series of revival programs in Charlotte which were hosted by an evangelist in the person of Mordecai Fowler Ham. These revival meetings changed his personality and he decided to give his life to Christ.

In 1936, Billy Graham graduated from Sharon High School and enrolled at Bob Jones College. However, he did not last long at Bob Jones College since he left just after a few months. In 1937, Billy Graham attended the Florida Bible Institute from where he graduated with a bachelor in theology. His graduation took place in the year 1940. Worth noting is that he was previously baptized in the year 1938 by Reverend Cecil Underwood in Silver Lake. It was still Rev Underwood who ordained him together with other pastors as a southern baptist minister in the St John’s River Association. In 1940, Billy Graham enrolled into the Wheathon College, Illinoise. It was in this collage that he graduated in 1943 with a bachelor degree in anthropology.

While in her teenage ages, she was taken care of by her mother given that her father was a military personnel who served in the second world war. Sad to say but when his father returned from the war, he abused her sexually, verbally, and emotionally. This left her in great pains which could be sensed even during school hours. She developed a sense of insecurity and began living a lonely life of stress. However, she did not neglect her studies but persisted until her graduation from O’Fallen Technical High School in St Louis.

Upon graduating, Joyce went into a wedlock with a part-time car salesman but the marriage lasted only for 5 years. And in 1967, she got married to Dave Meyer. Although Meyer had an influential effect on Joyce, he later calmed down. Joyce Meyer says that while she was driving to work in 1976, she received a personal message from God. This left her with the desire and thirst to know God the more. This led her to developing a more intimate relationship with God. It was after the reception of the message from God that she became a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in St Louis. If we assume here that are main angle of view is in terms of church building, our normal measuring criteria would be either volume or area. Whatever the case, coming up with the biggest church in the world is definitely not the easiest thing to do. The complexity of this subject keeps many people wondering how to go about. When we talk of the largest church in the world in terms of superficial structures, are we going to include ancillary buildings or other parts of the building which are not used for worship? This is a complicated question to answer. Such will lead to many opinions about the largest church in the world.

There are various criteria which can be used to measure the size of a church. Some of these include capacity, area, volume, length, Width, and height. It is generally because of any of these criteria that many individual churches claim to be the biggest church in the world. Some churches go to the extent of claiming to be the biggest because of their many branches in different countries and continents. For centuries, the st Peter’s Basilica has been considered as the largest cathedral in the world. This cathedral stretches over a 186 meters in length with a magnificent central dome which rises to 136 meters in height. It happens to be the most important church in Roman Catholicism. This mega cathedral has a carrying capacity of 60,000. It was belt from 1506 to 1626.

St Peter’s Basilica was originally built in 320 AD by Emperor Constantine. It was not until the 15th Century that it was redesigned and enlarged by pope Nicolas V. Michelangelo is the skillful Italian artist who designed the 41 meters high of saint Peter’s cathedral. The Colonnade’s top level contains 140 statues of various saints. It was in 1662 that the sculpting of the status began and proceeded for the next 41 years. This vast cathedral houses 100 tombs including Popes, Roman Emperor Otto II and the Swedish Queen by name Christina. Worth noting here is that there is a Holy Door in the cathedral which is only opened during Holy Years.

However, a controversy on the biggest church in the world was recently brought by the Guinness Book Of Record. According to them, the Basilica Of Our Lady Of Peace of Yamoussoukro in the Ivory Coast is the biggest church in the world. The say that it surpasses the St Peter’s Basilica with an exterior surface area of 30,000 m².

The vast Basilica Of The National Shrine Of Our Lady Of Aparecida is one of the largest churches in the world. This cathedral has a surface floor area of 12,000 m². It is currently the most important Marian Pilgrimage center in Brazil. It is located in the city of Aparecida and has an accommodation capacity of 45,000 worshipers. According to mythology, a group of fishers who were carrying out their fishing activity in 1717 got a headless statue of virgin Mary from Paraiba river. The story continues that they also haul up the head of the statue on another cast of their nets. These fishers went back to their home with the statue of virgin Mary. They further housed it in 1945 in the shrine. This statue of the virgin Mary was believed to have been sculptured by a Brazilian monk in the person of Frei Agostino de Jesus.

It was not until 1834 that a new church was built on the spot of the shrine. The construction of this church went from 1834 to 1888. The current version of the cathedral which we have today was built in the 20th century. The towers of this vast cathedral rise up to 102 meters and its magnificent dome is 70 meters high.

Seville Cathedral’s central nave stands 42 meters in height. Its spacious interior is highly decorated with gold. The church has 45 wooden carved scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. These 45 wooden carved scenes serve as a major attraction which brings people from all places in the world. It is currently the biggest alter piece in the world. This vast cathedral also has large choirs and chapels. Worth noting is the fact that the minaret of the Almohad Mosque still stands beside the cathedral till date.

The main door leading into the Cathedral of St John the Divine is made up of Bronze. It is further decorated with 48 relief panels which are eye catching. The church also features a mega-large window which is made up of 10,000 pieces of colored stained glass. It is the largest stained-glass in the USA and the third largest in the whole world.

However, it was in the 20th century that final works on the pillars were made. Today, it is perceived as a mega-church with an internal area of 8318 square meters. You can find a 15 inches tall statue of the virgin Mary which is located in the Holy Chapel of the Church. Today, it is one of the most visited pilgrimage centers in Spain.

Doubts have been raised about this pastor who does things like raising the dead, healing all kinds of sicknesses, and voicing out accurate and precise prophecies.

Do prophets still exist?

The scriptures above are talking of a New Testament Church of Christ with Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, and Wonder workers. You should rather question yourself when a church lacks the above figures. The true modern church must reflect that which was started by Christ and handed to his immediate Apostles.

The Spirit of prophecy is for all times

The Spirit of prophecy is still in our midst. If you are doubting, open your Bible to Revelation 19:10 and you’ll learn that the truth which Jesus revealed is what inspires the prophets. Hence, saying that the spirit of prophecy is no longer in the church is like saying that there is no more truth in the church. New Testament prophets as we can read from Revelation 19:10 are men and women who are inspired by the truth which was revealed by Jesus Christ. In other words, the prophetic lineage is maintained in the modern church by the truth which was revealed by our Lord and Savior. Hence, God is still raising men and women who will speak in his name as well as make him known to the ends of the world.

The Prophetic is a gift from God to the church

Note that God uses the hands of men to accomplish his will. Whenever God calls a man and he submits, wonders and miracles will follow him. You can verify this by reading the stories of Prophets and Apostles in the Bible. When God calls and commissions a man, he equips him with all that is needed for the accomplishment of the mission. In short, a man whom God has ordained for a mission is no longer an ordinary man. That’s why we should not be alarmed when we see such men accomplishing impossible things.

Why do we believe that prophets still exist?

Our believe in the existence of prophets is Biblical and well founded in the Holy Scriptures. That’s why we’ll invite you to read from Acts 11:27-28 – “About that time some prophets went from Jerusalem to Antioch. One of them named Agabus, stood up and by the power of the Holy Spirit predicted that a severe famine was about to come over the earth, (It came when Claudius was Emperor)“. Acts 21:10 – “We had been there for several days when a prophet named Agabus arrived from Judea“. Act 15:32 – “Judas and Silas who were themselves prophets, spoke a long time with them, giving them courage and strength“.

The above scriptures clearly reveal some of the Prophets who operated in the New Testament after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This eliminates the false teaching that John the Baptist was the last prophet. After the death of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, many prophets came just as we can read from the scriptures above. These prophets were not coming with new doctrines but they were rather inspired by the truth which was revealed by Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:10). This is a clear proof that prophets in the New Testament are in existence. They are in our midst and are mightily used by God. But we are more into condemning them than listening to their divine messages. This will serve as a strong base to handle the case of Pastor Alph Lukau Exposed.

It even becomes a bigger problem if a teacher of the gospel shows up with the manifesting power of the Holy Spirit. People will quickly start throwing stones at him and shouting that he is false. Haven’t you read John 14:12 – “I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do. Yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the father.” Rather than throwing stones at others, you should better blame your faith for being weak. The words of Jesus Christ are clear, if you strongly believe in him, you can raise a dead and even do more.

Who is a false prophet?

Please do not allow yourself to be led by blind people. Do not consider a teacher of the gospel false because your spiritual leader asked you to. Never rely on your friends to conclude that a person who comes in the name of the Lord is false. You should rather rely on your Bible to know the truth. It is the truth that will help you recognize those who come in the name of the lord. How can you rely on others to say that a messenger of God is false without listening to his teachings and confessions about the nature of Christ? Remember that Jesus Christ did not say that there will be no more prophets after him. He rather said we should be careful because many false prophets will come after him. The Bible is our standard of living. It represents the whole truth.

Scripture to know a false prophet

It is in the light if the scriptures that we’ll teach you how to know a false prophet. Let’s open our Bibles to 1 John 4:2-3 – “This is how you will be able to know whether it is God’s spirit: anyone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ came as a human being has the spirit who comes from God. But anyone who denies this about Jesus does not have the spirit from God. The spirit that he has is from the Enemy of Christ; you heard that it will come, and now it is in the world already.” This scripture clearly offers you what it takes to resolve the case of Pastor Alph Lukau Exposed.
